Colum Hustler

BEATEN SOUL (Colum Hustler) is a young DJ/ producer from the north of England who is producing a style of deep, chunky, soul filled U.S house music that shakes all dance floors. Living within ear shot of Russ Marland’s Legendary “out in the sticks” gave Colum an ear for all things deep and soulful at a very early age. Dj’ing came as naturally as breathing and from that a move into the studio was a clear progression. Early work for colum included release’s on One foot in the groove records, soulfunk-digital records and the Audiowhores respected imprint TEMPOGROOVE  recordings. Colum has now followed it up with multiple productions signed to SEAMLESS recordings, REELGROOVE records, RAISANI records, BLACKSOUL music. Further to that, 2 releases on Mn2S and another two on SOULHEAVEN records has established colum as a well known and respected artist. Beaten soul has teamed up with artists such as Stephanie cooke, Maiya, Dawn Tallman, chappell and Tyree Cooper. Further collaborations with Donald Sheffey, Selina Campbell, L.t Brown, Lady Alma and Nicole Mitchell are now to follow. Beaten Soul now  with a string of traxsource top ten’s and also now signed to huge imprints like MN2S and SOULHEAVEN is also a remixer in demand,  he has now remixed for the likes of SOULDYNAMIC, GROOVE ASSASSIN, DISTANT PEOPLE, CLEMENS RUMPF and for labels including LARGE, TEMPOGROOVE , GOTTA KEEP FAITH, CONSORTIUM MUZIK and SOUNDMEN ON WAX.

Colum is also fast making himself known as a DJ with a floor filling style as his unique blend of house can work every type of floor, playing a blend of soulful, deep ,edgy uplifting vocal U.S house, his talents have made him a much loved purveyor of quality house music in and around The north of England playing for promotions and clubs such as Sankeys, The tube, Tribal sessions, Your city soul, All back to ours, Clubsoula, seamless sessions, Carnival and Circo loco.  Playing alongside the likes of Marshall Jefferson, The Audiowhores, Neil Pierce, Bobby & Steve, Danny Rampling, kenny dope and James Zabiela to name a few.
