Revered house institute Soul Heaven get set to celebrate their momentous 10th Anniversary in 2010, not only with a spectacular show at their spiritual home Ministry Of Sound on January 23rd but with a homage to the last 10 years of Soul Heaven with an essential 3 Disc CD Release mixed by the Father of Soul Heaven – Louie Vega.
Resulting from a conversation that Louie Vega had with Oli White (ex Soul Heaven owner), the Soul Heaven parties have consistently been a byword for lovers of soul, disco, house in all its glorious forms for the last 10 years. These legendary parties have attracted the absolute cream of national and international DJ’ing talent such as Kenny Dope, Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spen, Osunlade, Joe Claussell, Kerri Chandler & Dennis Ferrer, Blaze, Terry Hunter and Danny Krivit, all who have contributed to the Soul Heaven live events or have mixed for legendary series of “Soul Heaven Presents…”

Reaching far further than it’s UK-based home, Soul Heaven has touched down in Ibiza, to Miami hosting sell-out club shows, pool parties or road-blocked events.
On Jan 23rd 2010, Soul Heaven returns to where it all began for their 10th Anniversary album launch party – with host Louie Vega. The distinct soul sirens of Jocelyn Brown and Barbara Tucker join the stellar lineup, performing their respective vocal contributions to the label as well as live versions of some of their biggest hits alongside Phil Asher, Neil Pierce, Aaron Ross Sy Sez & Sean McCabe, with a live PA from Adeola Ranson in the Bar plus a classic set in the Baby Box to commemorate a decade of big tunes and even bigger parties.

January’s special Ministry of Sound takeover will coincide with the release of “Ten Years of Soul Heaven”,compiled and mixed by Soul Heaven international ambassador Louie Vega. As not only the quintessential music professional, Grammy award winning DJ, Producer, songwriter, label owner & bandleader, Louie Vega was also the seminal originator with the vision to take soulful house to large scale audiences.
Disc one is all about the cutting edge, fresh new sounds that are popular with Soul Heaven.

Disc 2 reflects the vocal house sound that Soul Heaven is famous for, while Disc 3 is a respectful and nostalgic nod to 10 years of Soul Heaven by Louie, the residents and owner Fleur Woolford, who all choose classic tracks from the last ten years, each chosen with their own special memory.
