Louie Vega Top 5

1. Fanatix ft. Alison Crockett and Nathan Haines – Fly So Fanatix was big around the time of our residency in ibiza & has been popular ever since – I love the feel of this and the cool mix between the sax and the vocal – very classy and I still play this out pretty much everywhere.

2. Bopstar feat. Zara McFarlane – Captured (Restless Soul Mixes) –  went down really well on the dance floors at roots – always your favourite place to try out tracks. A pretty unusual song, deep but it works almost instantly even you haven’t heard it before. Great bass from restlessoul.

3. Peven Everett – Stuck  - launch the soul heaven label in 2006 big track in miami that year too. It has the classic Soul Heaven feel, music that makes you want to dance but great just to listen to and get lost in.

4. Call Him – restless soul pres. Lady Alma –  one of the best producers out of the uk. Beautiful dreamy vocal and a real strong backing. This one grows and grows on you.

5. Peven Everett – Can’t Do Without – a great track from Peven and Aaron Ross. Love the sentiment of the vocal and the latin tinge on the music works very well for me.
